Allow me to take a moment away from our wonderful goings on to say something I have learned again rather powerfully today.

First of all, Jesus Christ IS our Savior. God IS our Father in Heaven. Those are important facts to establish.  Next, God, our Father and Jesus Christ, our Savior, love each and every single one of their children beyond comprehension! I definitely have the weakness of frequently imagining that I am an exception to that love. ( 🙁 ) But today I felt it so strongly for people I love that I KNOW that Their love reaches us all!

The kids love to listen to Scripture Scouts in the car. There is a song on one of the episodes that plays over in my head all the time when I feel like I just made a huge mothering blunder or when I am cranky at people for no good reason.

Everybody makes their share of mistakes
But there’s one thing you should know:
Jesus may not always like what we do
But He loves us even so.

For reals, sometimes I am a total turd and straight up do not deserve love. I am amazed that Josh can stand my punkness. And sometimes despite my very best efforts to trust in the Lord and His will for my life I am hurt beyond what I can stand when things don’t happen according to my plans. But Heavenly Father and His Son STILL love me. They still love you! And They have always managed to send people to me in my times of hurt and turdness to remind me of Their love. And sometimes I forget it in the moment–but oh how I feel it right now–every emissary of love in this world is sent from God. All love comes from God through the Atoning sacrifice of His Only Begotten Son.

I know They are real. And I know Their love is perfect and perfectly unconditional.
